Samsung hasn’t officially told anyone what we might see at the event, but all signs point to what you might have guessed yourself if you follow tech news at all.
Samsung has finally added the Galaxy S22 to its self-repair program
But if you’re not a Samsung enthusiast, here’s what you can reasonably expect from Galaxy Unpacked 2023. February.

What’s more is that we actually have new phone specs as well. Latest leaks has allegedly given us an idea of what’s under the hood of the Galaxy S23, S23 Plus and S23 Ultra. They come in sizes of 6.1 inches, 6.7 inches and 6.8 inches respectively. The S23 and S23 Plus will have the same camera array with three lenses at 50MP, 12MP and 10MP.
When it comes to the Galaxy S23 Ultra, things get a little more interesting. It will have up to 12GB of RAM (the other two only up to 8GB) and 1TB of built-in storage. Meanwhile, its battery is a whopping 5,000mAh, so it should be solid in that regard. In fact, it’s all about the cameras. Its main sensor is a stunning 200MP lens paired with a 12MP ultra-wide lens and a pair of 10MP zoom lenses.
In other words, it should be sure zoom in on distant objects well. We’ll have to wait to see what other special features these phones have, though.
Phones may not be the only messages
Frankly, expect this version of Galaxy Unpacked to be mainly for phones. That means they probably won’t be the only devices featured.
Samsung’s website has it trailer page(Opens in a new window) ahead Unpacked, where you can put money to pre-order new devices for store credit. You can pre-order an unspecified Galaxy Smartphone (S23) and unspecified Galaxy Book laptop. It could be the Galaxy Book 3 Ultra.
Leaked specs(Opens in a new window) suggests that it will have a 16-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It could also include an Intel Core i7 or i9 processor, an RTX 4050 or 4070 graphics card, and possibly even 32GB. All this will probably cost a lot of money too.
And it does that. Don’t expect a follow-up Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4 no earlier than later this year. Expect to see smartphones that may have the best cameras.
